How are my account and comments handled?

You can read the articles and directory without signing in. Posting comments and managing your account require Clerk sign-in.

What information is processed?

Clerk processes sign-in credentials and account information. When you post, the comment service stores a verified account identifier, display name, text, time, discussion reference and review status, and processes necessary network information to prevent abuse. Public comments do not display email addresses, IP addresses or sign-in tokens.

What is shared when I sign in with Google?

If you choose Google sign-in, you are taken to Google to authorize it. With your consent, Clerk uses the account identifier, email address and basic profile information such as your name and picture returned by Google to identify or create your account. You can also sign in with an email verification code.

When are comments public?

Comments appear after review by the site owner. Do not submit passport numbers, identity-document images, detailed addresses or other sensitive information. The comment area does not accept admission documents.

How can I manage my account and comments?

Use “My account” in the header to manage your Clerk account. When signed in, you can delete your own reviewed comments. A discussion with replies may retain a “removed by author” placeholder to preserve other participants’ replies. Deleting an account does not automatically withdraw previously published comments; manage them first.

What is stored in my browser?

Your browser may store the selected site language and session information used by Clerk. Language preferences apply to the current browser and do not automatically sync to another device. Clearing browser data may remove preferences and sign you out.

Which external services are used?

Authentication uses Clerk, and the site and comments run on Cloudflare. Official links open other websites, which have their own privacy practices. This website does not use AI chat, automatic online translation or model services.
