Jilin University Jindou International Student Scholarship and Grant

Coverage: Established at Jilin University by Jilin Jindou Group Co., Ltd., this scholarship and grant rewards international students with excellent conduct and academic results and encourages contributions to friendship between their countries and China. It is for self-funded international degree students at Jilin University, with 30 recipients receiving RMB 2000 each.

Eligibility:

1. Self-funded international degree student at Jilin University.
2. Affection for China and compliance with Chinese laws and university rules.
3. Honesty, trustworthiness, diligent study and good overall performance.
4. Previous-year attendance of at least 80%, academic results in the top 5% of international students in the program, and no failed courses, disciplinary violations or other adverse records. Provide evidence of transcripts, attendance, pass rate, ranking and disciplinary clearance.
5. Priority for research achievements, conference participation or high-level papers in international journals. Provide conference evidence or copies of publications.

Application Period: From publication of the notice to its deadline.

Procedure:

1. Download the Jindou application form from the School of International Education website, http://cie.jlu.edu.cn, and complete it carefully. After the training unit signs to confirm, submit paper documents, including the form and scholarship evidence, to the International Student Affairs Office, Room 109, Friendship Hall.
2. The School of International Education and relevant departments form a Jindou review panel to assess awards and grants.
3. Selection follows fairness, impartiality, openness and merit.
4. Applicants passing document review attend interviews.
5. Final results are publicly posted and announced on the School of International Education website.
