Tianjin University Scholarship for International Bachelor’s Students in Environment and Energy

With programs designated by the Ministry of Education as key special programs and excellent engineering programs, Tianjin University’s School of Environmental Science and Engineering offers special international scholarships for entirely English-taught undergraduate students.

I. Environmental Scholarship Introduction

There are 3 full and 7 partial scholarships.

Full scholarships cover four years of tuition and RMB 25,000 living expenses each year. Partial scholarships cover four years of tuition.

II. Admission Requirements

1. Special scholarships are offered to applicants meeting the following conditions.
2. Non-Chinese citizenship and good health.
3. Age under 25.
4. English evidence: TOEFL at least 80, IELTS 6.0, or passing an interview arranged by Tianjin University.
5. Enter the university as an international student and maintain that status throughout study.
6. Begin study at the start of the scholarship-funded semester.

III. Procedure

7. Complete the international student admission application and scholarship application for the environmental program.
8. Mail forms and other documents, originals and copies, to the School of International Education Admissions Office before May 15, 2018.
9. The university begins announcing successful applicants from July 15, 2018.
10. Admission Notices and JW202 forms are mailed after successful application.
11. Register at Tianjin University in early September 2018.
