Xi'an Jiaotong University–Xi'an Municipal Government Belt and Road Scholarship for International Students

The Xi’an Municipal Government established this scholarship. Xi’an Jiaotong University receives and educates recipients and offers tuition concessions. It aims to give more outstanding students from Belt and Road countries opportunities to study in Xi’an.

Categories: Undergraduate, master’s, doctoral and one-year non-degree visiting students.

Deadlines

Undergraduate and non-degree: June 30.

Master’s and doctoral: April 15.

Eligibility

a. Nationality of a Belt and Road country.

b. Qualifications and age:

• Bachelor’s: high-school graduation, no older than 25.
• Master’s: bachelor’s degree, no older than 35.
• Doctoral: master’s degree, no older than 40.
• One-year non-degree study: no older than 45.

c. No other scholarship.

d. Language proficiency meeting the chosen program’s requirements.

Route: Submit documents directly to Xi’an Jiaotong University online.

Periods: Non-degree and undergraduate: March 1-June 30 each year. Master’s and doctoral: November-March each year.

Notes:

1. Master’s and doctoral applicants need only apply online according to the university’s Chinese Government Scholarship University Independent Admission Program dates and requirements.
