1. Amounts

Undergraduates: RMB 2000; master’s students: RMB 30000; doctoral students: RMB 30000; language students: RMB 6000.

2. Applicable programs

Confirm eligible programs with Ningbo University.

Eligibility

Non-Chinese nationality, good physical and mental health, friendly attitudes toward China, and compliance with Chinese law and university rules.

3. Application period

April 1-July 30.

4. Procedure

1. Meet admission requirements and be admitted to Ningbo University.
2. Confirm with the university that the proposed program is eligible for the municipal scholarship.
3. Pay the current year’s tuition.
4. Prepare Ningbo Municipal Government Scholarship documents.
5. Mail or deliver them to the designated office.

5. Documents

1. Two copies of the Ningbo Municipal Government Scholarship Application Form.
2. Two copies of the passport information page.
3. Two copies of notarized highest qualification certificates and transcripts.
4. Two copies of health examination clearance.
5. Two copies of two recommendation letters from professors or teachers; language students may omit these.
6. One copy of proof of tuition and application fee payment.
7. One copy of the admission or pre-admission notice.
