Wenzhou University Chinese Language New Student Scholarship, Category II

Category II is for international students who will study Chinese at Wenzhou University:

• First class: RMB 2000/student/semester.
• Second class: RMB 1500/student/semester.
• Third class: RMB 1000/student/semester.

Category B requirements:

1. Foreign citizenship and good health.
2. Commitment to Chinese laws and university rules, good conduct and friendliness toward China.
3. High school graduation or above.
4. A positive learning attitude and excellent results.
5. Admission as a new student for the current year.

Eligible Category B applicants must submit the following to the relevant International Students Office before May 10 or November 20 each year. Normal Chinese-language admission deadlines are the end of July or mid-January.

1. Wenzhou University Category B International Student Scholarship Application Form in Chinese or English.
2. Notarized highest qualification. Current students also provide enrollment evidence. Other languages require notarized Chinese or English translations.
3. Official transcripts from the current institution, with notarized Chinese or English translations for other languages.
4. Two professor or associate professor recommendations from the graduating institution, in Chinese or English.
5. Health certificate copy, with notarized Chinese or English translation for other languages.
6. Certificates or other materials demonstrating outstanding performance, with notarized Chinese or English translations for other languages.
