Hunan Normal University Scholarship for International Students

I. General Provisions

The scholarship attracts outstanding international applicants and encourages enrolled students to study diligently.

II. Recipients

1. Non-Chinese citizens.
2. Good physical and mental health, conduct and academic results.

III. Types and Applicants

Types: Comprehensive scholarships and individual achievement awards.

Applicants: Outstanding self-funded students studying at the university for at least one year, and outstanding incoming self-funded degree students. Individual awards are only for enrolled students and cannot overlap with comprehensive awards.

IV. Dates: March 1-May 31.

V. Procedure

Submit materials by the deadline. Following comprehensive selection and internal publication, the university announces recipients and notifies students personally.

VI. Documents

New students:

Scholarship application form; final qualification or degree; transcripts from the graduating institution; health certificate; for master’s or higher applicants, two recommendations from the graduating institution’s associate professors or higher, in Chinese or English; and Chinese or English proficiency evidence.

Enrolled students:

Scholarship application form; transcripts; school recommendation; attendance record; original award certificates.
