Dalian University of Technology President Scholarship for International Students

The university established this scholarship to encourage outstanding international bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral applicants.

Coverage

Full scholarships cover tuition, accommodation and living expenses; partial scholarships waive tuition only.

Full scholarship monthly living allowances:

Undergraduate: RMB 1200/person.

Master’s: RMB 1500/person.

Doctoral: RMB 1800/person.

Eligibility and documents

New undergraduate scholarship

Applicants need a qualification equivalent to Chinese senior-high-school graduation, excellent results and age no older than 25.

Documents: 1. Dalian University of Technology President Scholarship Application Form; 2. high-school graduation certificate and transcripts; 3. passport copy; 4. physical examination form; 5. HSK report.

New master’s scholarship

Applicants need a bachelor’s degree, excellent results and age no older than 35. Those applying from outside China need recommendations from two professors or associate professors; those applying within China must already have admission.

Documents: 1. Dalian University of Technology President Scholarship Application Form; 2. university graduation certificate and transcripts; 3. two recommendations from associate professors or above; 4. research plan of at least 800 words; 5. physical examination form; 6. HSK report; 7. passport copy.

New doctoral scholarship

Applicants need a master’s degree, excellent results and age no older than 40. Those applying from outside China need recommendations from two professors or associate professors; those applying within China must already have admission.

Documents: 1. Dalian University of Technology President Scholarship Application Form; 2. university graduation certificate and transcripts; 3. two recommendations from associate professors or above; 4. research plan of at least 800 words; 5. physical examination form; 6. passport copy.

Dates

December-end of February of the following year.

Apply to the School of International Education and mail written documents during that period, all in duplicate.
