Harbin Normal University Heilongjiang Provincial Government Scholarship

I. Eligible Students, Duration and Application Requirements

Undergraduate scholarship: offered to applicants seeking a bachelor’s degree at Harbin Normal University. The duration of the degree program is 4 academic years. Applicants must have an educational qualification equivalent to graduation from a Chinese senior high school, have excellent academic results, and be no older than 25.

Master’s scholarship: offered to applicants seeking a master’s degree at Harbin Normal University. The duration of the degree program is 3 academic years. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree, have excellent academic results, and have recommendations from two professors or associate professors. They will be admitted after passing the university’s entrance assessment and must be no older than 35.

Doctoral scholarship: offered to applicants seeking a doctoral degree at Harbin Normal University. The duration of the degree program is 3–4 academic years. Applicants must hold a master’s degree, have excellent academic results, and have recommendations from two professors or associate professors. They will be admitted after passing the university’s entrance assessment and must be no older than 40.

II. Scholarship Coverage

The Heilongjiang Provincial Government Scholarship covers registration, tuition, basic textbook, accommodation and comprehensive medical insurance fees. International travel and living expenses are the student’s responsibility. Scholarship students requesting experiments or internships beyond the university’s teaching plan must pay the associated costs themselves.

III. Application Period

Applicants may request the following year’s admissions brochure from the International Student Admissions Office in December each year and must submit all materials before April 1.
