(II) Application Requirements

1. Foreign citizens in good health.

2. Undergraduate applicants must have graduated from senior high school; master’s applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree; doctoral applicants must hold a master’s degree. Applicants for Chinese language courses for international students must have a senior high school qualification or above and study for at least one semester.

3. Good conduct, with no violations of university rules or Chinese laws and regulations.

4. Applicants already studying at the university must study diligently, have an average grade of Good or above (based on final course examination results; make-up examination and repeated-course results are excluded, and there must be no record of absence from examinations), or show outstanding performance in other areas. New applicants must have an average grade of Good or above, based on the transcript from their previous educational stage, or outstanding performance in other areas.

5. Applicants already studying at the university who have not paid previous years’ tuition and accommodation fees in full as required, or whose attendance during study is below 80%, are disqualified from applying for that year’s scholarship.

Note: degree student scholarships are evaluated once each year; language student scholarships are evaluated once each semester.

(III) Application Method

1. Application periods

Applications are generally accepted from March 1 to May 31 each year.

For Chinese language students entering in spring: October 1 to December 31 each year.

2. How to apply

(1) Log in to Zhejiang Gongshang University’s international student application system at http: //121.43.56.43/gj/Login.aspx. Google Chrome is recommended.

(2) Enter the “Scholarship Application” module.

(3) Complete the form accurately as instructed and upload the required materials.

(4) “Save” and “Submit” the scholarship application. Application information cannot be changed after submission.

(5) Wait for review. The result will be sent by email.

Note: the application method above applies only to new-student scholarship applicants. Applicants already studying at the university should consult their academic school.
