I. Scholarship categories and amounts

All programs offered by Zhejiang Sci-Tech University are eligible.

III. Application requirements

1. Basic requirements

(1) Undergraduate applicants must have an educational qualification or certificate equivalent to graduation from a Chinese senior high school.

(2) Master’s applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification and provide recommendation letters from 2 professors or associate professors.

(3) Doctoral applicants must hold a master’s degree or equivalent qualification and provide recommendation letters from 2 professors or associate professors.

2. Other requirements

(1) Applicants must be foreign nationals holding a foreign passport, friendly toward China and in good health.

(2) Applicants must demonstrate good conduct and comply with Chinese laws and regulations and university rules.

(3) Applicants must have good results from their previous stage of education.

(4) Applicants should possess the appropriate Chinese proficiency and provide evidence, such as a new HSK Level 4 certificate or other Chinese study and test certificates. Chinese language students and applicants to programs taught directly in English are exempt from Chinese proficiency requirements.

(5) Applicants may not simultaneously hold Chinese Government, Zhejiang Provincial Government or other scholarships.

(6) Continuing students applying for Category D must actively participate in cultural and sporting activities organized by the university or relevant higher-level organizations, demonstrate a strong sense of collective honor and good cooperation, and maintain a friendly attitude.

1. Zhejiang Sci-Tech University Admission Application Form for International Students.

3. A copy of a valid passport.
4. A notarized certificate of the highest educational qualification. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must include a Chinese or English translation.
5. Academic transcripts. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must include a Chinese or English translation.
6. Recommendation letters: master’s, doctoral and senior visiting students must submit letters from 2 professors or associate professors.
7. Foreigner Physical Examination Record, valid within 6 months of examination.
8. Applicants under 18 must submit the relevant legal documents for their legal guardian in China.
9. A copy of an HSK certificate or English proficiency certificate, if available.
10. Other required materials, as specified in subsequent notices.
