Zhejiang University of Science and Technology Scholarship for Outstanding New International Master’s Students

International students applying for master’s programs at the university must be in good health.

Selection requirements

1. Excellent academic performance. Applicants must provide their undergraduate graduation certificate and transcripts.
2. Applicants to Chinese-taught programs must hold an HSK Level 5 certificate.
3. Applicants to English-taught programs must provide undergraduate English results and pass a telephone interview organized by Zhejiang University of Science and Technology.

Scholarship categories and amounts

This scholarship supports new master’s students at Zhejiang University of Science and Technology. Depending on the category, it covers all or part of tuition and accommodation fees for the first year.

Application materials

1. A copy of the passport.
2. Notarized proof of the highest educational qualification. Current students must also provide an enrollment certificate from their institution. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English require corresponding notarized Chinese or English translations. Students undertaking undergraduate study at a Chinese university must provide a transfer certificate.
3. Notarized academic transcripts.
4. 2 recommendation letters from the institution from which the applicant graduated, written in Chinese or English.
5. A copy of a health certificate.
6. An HSK Level 5 or above certificate for applicants to Chinese-taught programs.
7. For applicants to English-taught programs: a certificate showing IELTS 5.5 or above, TOEFL 80 or above, GRE 1400 or above, PET Level 3 or above, or proof of good or excellent results in the university’s English entrance examination for new students.
