Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University Scholarships for International Students

Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University established its Scholarship for International Students to encourage and support outstanding international students to study at the university. Implemented from 2013, it primarily funds international master’s and doctoral students.

Recipients: International students intending to study at, or already studying at, Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University.

How to apply: International applicants for master’s or doctoral degrees may complete the Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University Scholarship Application Form for International Students, stated to be available from the Overseas Education College website, http://hwxy.fafu.edu.cn, and submit it with their admission application documents to the International Student Affairs Office of the university’s Overseas Education College. The documents are copies of notarized highest-education certificates and transcripts, a passport copy, a health certificate and recommendation letters. International students already pursuing master’s or doctoral degrees at the university may complete the Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University Scholarship Application Form for Current International Students and submit it, together with transcripts, a supervisor’s recommendation letter and other supporting documents, to the university’s International Student Affairs Office.

Application period: January to April each year.

Award coverage: Tuition, accommodation in an ordinary room, comprehensive medical insurance for international students in China, and a living allowance of CNY 2,500 per month for doctoral students or CNY 2,000 per month for master’s students.

Places: 30 in total: 10 master’s and 20 doctoral students.
