Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences Scholarship

1. Scholarship coverage and amounts

The Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (GSCAAS) independently operates this scholarship. The number of awards offered each year depends on supervisors’ needs. It mainly attracts international students with excellent language skills and academic backgrounds to pursue master’s and doctoral degrees, with courses taught entirely in English. The scholarship waives tuition and purchases comprehensive medical insurance for students. Supervisors fund student allowances of CNY 3,000 per month for master’s students or CNY 3,500 per month for doctoral students, as well as accommodation costs.

2. Available programs

All 51 doctoral degree programs and 63 master’s degree programs at GSCAAS accept applications. Both master’s and doctoral programs last three years.

3. Eligibility

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health. Master’s applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and be no older than 35. Doctoral applicants must hold a master’s degree and be no older than 40.
