Founded in 1951, Shandong University of Science and Technology has developed into a comprehensive university with strong engineering advantages, distinctive industry characteristics, and integrated, coordinated development in engineering, science, management, literature, law, economics and art. It is a distinctive university designated by Shandong for priority development in training professionals with applied and foundational capabilities. It operates in Qingdao, Tai’an and Jinan, with 19 schools, 9 teaching departments, 4 research institutes and 1 independent college.
