Zhejiang University of Science and Technology (ZUST) is a comprehensive university centered on engineering, with coordinated development in science, literature, economics, management, education and other fields. ZUST has two campuses.
Xiaoheshan Campus is in Hangzhou, Zhejiang’s capital and a renowned historical and cultural city in one of China’s most prosperous provinces. Nestled at the foot of Xiaoheshan, the campus has tranquil, sparkling lakes and is surrounded by hills.

Anji Campus is in Anji County, which has received the United Nations Habitat Award.
The university offers international students 20 Chinese-taught undergraduate programs, 16 English-taught undergraduate programs, 13 English-taught master’s programs and 7 Chinese-taught master’s programs. It also offers a master’s program in International Chinese Language Education and a Business Chinese undergraduate program for beginners with no prior Chinese. As international cooperation deepens and distinctive undergraduate and postgraduate programs develop, international student numbers are growing significantly.

Ximi Lake: A central landscape feature of Xiaoheshan Campus. Its clear water is surrounded by aquatic plants such as Louisiana irises, pennywort and alligator-flag plants, creating colorful iris belts and lakeside flower borders. Willows and peach trees alternate along the shores, echoing the layout of Su Causeway and creating attractive scenery.
Heshan Tea Garden: Near Hefeng Residence on Xiaoheshan Campus, its lush tea plants create a lively scene during picking season. Visitors can enjoy the rich tea fragrance and natural countryside views.
Student Cultural Center: Also on Xiaoheshan Campus, on Ximi Lake’s southern shore. Inspired by abstract geometric mountain forms and natural reflections in water, its architecture blends with the surrounding landscape and serves as a campus cultural landmark.
Accommodation
Buildings 2 and 4 of Tingsong Apartments and Building 7 of Donghe Apartments are international student residences. Students must comply with the Zhejiang University of Science and Technology International Student Residence Management Regulations, referred to by the institution’s former Chinese name in the source. Violations are subject to corresponding penalties.
