Test-day procedure · Home-based online test

  1. Pre-Test Preparation

• Primary Device (Testing Computer): Close all antivirus and non-test applications. Check network stability; a wired connection is recommended. Ensure sufficient battery charge (continuous connection to a power source is advised).

• Secondary Device (Monitoring Phone/Tablet): Secure the device at approximately a 45° rear-side angle, ensuring the view covers your upper body, computer screen, and hand movements. Enable Airplane Mode, then reconnect to Wi-Fi. Activate Do Not Disturb or silent mode, close all unrelated apps, and ensure sufficient battery charge (continuous connection to a power source is advised).

• Required Materials: Place your original ID document and Admission Ticket on the desk for verification.

  1. Login and Verification (60 minutes before the test)

• System Launch and Check: Open the Test Client, select your language, and complete the system and network check as prompted.

• Login and Facial Recognition: Enter your Admission Ticket number and password to log in. Verify your identity and complete the facial recognition process.

• Connect Secondary Device: Scan the on-screen QR code to connect to the secondary camera monitoring page and ensure the video feed is clear and stable.

• Proctor Inspection: Follow the proctor’s instructions to present your ID, perform a 360° environment scan, and show your blank scratch tool.

• Read Test Rules: Carefully read the on-screen Test Rules, then click the confirmation button.

  1. Test Start and Answering

• Begin the Test: After the countdown ends and you confirm, the system will automatically switch to full-screen mode and start the test timer.

• Answering and Saving: Use your mouse to answer questions directly. The system automatically saves your progress. Pay attention to the color of question numbers on the left (green indicates answered questions). Review to ensure all questions are completed.

• Time Management: You may review and revise answers within the allotted time. Manage your time wisely.

• Issue Handling: In case of any system or network issues during the exam (such as a white screen, freezing, unresponsive pages, or network disconnection), please first contact the proctor via the “Call Proctor” button on the secondary device and follow the proctor’s instructions to exit and re-log in to the exam system.

If the secondary device is also disconnected and the proctor cannot be reached, you may restart the exam device and log back into the exam system.

If the issue persists, please contact technical support for assistance.

  1. End of the Test

• The system will automatically submit the test when time expires. Wait until the Submission Successful message appears before exiting.

• Follow the proctor’s instructions to display and erase all notes on your scratch tool.

• Exit the Test Client but do not delete any files until after the test results are officially released.
